::1:year:later::

1 year later...

I miss my Sky so much.
The day before yesterday was the one year anniversary of Sky's passing. I can't believe that it has been one whole, entire year that he has gone over to the Rainbow Bridge.
I miss him every single day; he was my heart.
I know that he watches over us now and he protects little Lou'e. I just wish he were still here to see him ~ well, I know that he still see's him. :)
There is not one day that goes by where I don't think of him.

I love you so much Skiusz.
I miss you and I know you are watching over all of us.

Not exactly a big fan of socks ~ but he looks so presh!

I know it has been a while since I wrote last...and I have yet to watch the latest episode of RHOV and fill you in on the deets as to what went on. But that'll happen, don't worry. :P Tomorrow I have a day off from work to watch my little LouLou as he is going in for surgery this morning and I am worried ~ I know I shouldn't be, but I am a crazy dog lady, so just keep him in your thoughts. I will call the vet later on this aft and make sure everything is fine. Unfortunately I cannot take him the same day as much as I would love to. But I know that he is in good hands. <3 span="">

::RHOV:episode:2::

Hopefully we see Kevin this season!

So last Tuesday was the second episode of RHOV ~ unfortunately I missed it because I am so obsessed with Game of Thrones I had to finish season 1. But that is okay, because Slice allows us Canadians to catch the episode the next day on their site, so I did that first thing in the morning.

Alright...so my thoughts on this episode...
The show starts off with Robin and Mary going out for lunch where they talk about the BBQ, Robin tells Mary that Jody was *gasp* nice to her. But very little else is said afterwards. Robin tells Mary that she is auditioning to sing The Star Spangled Banner at a Grand Prix show-jumping {horsie} event. She then asks Mary if she wants to sing the Canadian national anthem, Mary is flattered ~ UNTIL ~ she finds out that she herself has to audition.
But she agrees to do it anyways.

::rainy:tuesday::

Well, the long weekend has come to a close. *tear* Mind you there are more on their way but still. Lol. I always enjoy hanging out at my apartment with Travis and Lou'e and either doing nothing or just doing everything. I did get a lot of studying done this weekend which I am quite happy with, and I am almost done this Symptamology subject. It gets a bit tricky here and there but nothing I can't tackle.
So it's back to work, Tuesday, rainy, Game of Thrones comes out today!! WOOHOO!!! I am so excited. The second season I mean. I am so obsessed with this show it's not even funny.
I found out that there is even a Game of Thrones GAME. Pfff. This is insanity. Lol.
Anyways! Nothing much else to report to be quite honest. I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend and I feel some editorials are long overdue!

This editorial reminds me of Game of Thrones, naturally. :P

::valentines:love::

Happy Valentine's Day all!

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful start to their lovey-dovey day. I, on the other hand, don't celebrate Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. Well, I mean, we used to go out and do dinners and stuff but it is sorta overrated. Of course it is so nice to get wined and dined...but my boyfriend isn't one to plan romantic get away's or nothing like that, but that's okay with me.

::winter:is:coming::

I, for serious, have a new obsession.
And that new obsession is called Game of Thrones. I recently bought the book and have yet to read it BUT on my snow day on Friday I decided to watch the first season of Game of Thrones online and I was hooked, even Travis is hooked! Even Lou'e is hooked! Lol.
Honestly, I don't watch a lot of TVs and only love a handful of shows ~ Gossip Girl, RHOV being some of them ~ but Thrones far surpasses these shows.
This show is AMAZEBALLS.

::housewives:episode:1::

 To be quite honest with you, I found the season premiere of the Real Housewives of Vancouver to be a bit...dare I say it?
Boring.
Honestly, there wasn't really anything exciting that happened...and even the preview for the new season looks sorta repetitive...I wish that Ronnie and Mary could become friends again but we both know that Ronnie is a bit of a kookoobird.
Hmm. First, thoughts on the new girls.

First of all, I wanna say that it all seemed staged. I mean, it is obvious that all these women knew each other before filming started. So the way the producers got all the women to just randomly meet in certain circumstances felt very fake. Amanda is Mia's friend? What? Since when? How old is Amanda and how old is Mia? Mia seems more of a party-girl-type then to sit and have tea with a recovering alcoholic Mom of three. The meeting between Amanda and Jody was soooo bogus {I know, who uses that word anymore, lol}. What the hell is this whole thing too about Jody being "so concerned" about Ronnie and her drinking??? Ronnie claimed time and time again that she wasn't an alcoholic and still outright hasn't said anything about it so what is Jody going on about?

::real:housewives:of:vancouver::

Today is the premiere of the second season of the Real Housewives of Vancouver on Slice {Canadian TV station}, and let me tell you, I am beyond excited, I honestly loved the first season and am constantly re-watching them during my free time.
I am not sure why I am so obsessed with this show ~ I barely watch TV at all and I have seen the other Housewives shows and really only ever watch it when there is a marathon going on and nothing else on TV.
But with RHOV...I NEED to watch it...every single episode. So I have been waiting and hoping for a second season and here it is!

::spicy:chicken:stirfry::

Awe, how utterly disappointing.
My books didn't show up via UPS today ~ so I am not sure if I should just read another book or just wait it out for Monday to begin Magic Study - the second book to Poison Study.
First world problems. I know.
Anyways!
I *need* to look on the brighter side of life because I am always such a negative Nancy...therefore, let's try to be a little more positive.
It's Friday!
There, that's it. Lol.

::poison:study::

So, I am on the last chapter of my book “Poison Study” by Maria V. Snyder and I am mildly infatuated with it. To the point where I have an urgency to read the second installment of this book and am beyond excited that they are going to be on their way soon (thanks Kev!). Honestly, I don’t want to say too much, as it may spoil it for anyone that plans on reading it but I highly recommend it.

When I had mentioned in a previous post that the beginning was a tad stagnant and that it lacked any structure I was wrongbecause everything came together halfway through the book and I finally understood.

You can't just read the first few chapters and think you have it figured out and I think the reason as to why I did that was because I was looking for something better than Divergent and Insurgentalthough this may not be better I mean they seem to be two totally different genres one dystopian and the other more medieval - I think it comes in close. I definitely hope for more than 3 books in the Study series by Snyder; that is for sure.
