::happy:reading:&:dream:library::

Grrr....the brand new Kate Moss book *was* available on Amazon and now it's disappeared! Will ship in 1-3 months! :( *tears*tears*tears*
This book was released as an homage to her 40th birthday and to her beyond successful career...I own pretty much all the Kate Moss books...because I'm obsessed with her and want to BE her. Lol.
Anyways...it's available on the US Amazon if anyone is interested. Please let me know what you think! I am desperate to find out what that book is like! I can't even find it in my local stores!
Anyways...
I told you I would share some new Spring reads and here they are! They aren't novels...but I am sure you are going to have a lot of fun reading them - of course, there are cookbooks...I read those like I read Harlan Coben or Dean Koontz. ;)

Happy Reading!!

"The Body Book" by Cameron Diaz - $15.99 CDN
Wow, the price of this book has come down a lot since I threw it in my wish list bucket on Amazon. Okay, I must admit, I wasn't a *huge* fan of Cameron Diaz...I don't know why! I guess she annoyed me immensely in Charlie's Angels...but I did love her in The Mask with Jim Carrey.

Anyways...for some reason when I saw that she released a book all about nutrition and your body there was a switch that flipped and I though - yea, I could like her again. I don't know why! I guess I am loving all people that tout healthy living these days. I love even more the photo of her here...no makeup and just happy to have a copy of her own book. That'll be me one day! Mark my words!! :D
I looked through the book (online) and it really does seem quite interest, a no nonsense, layman terms take on nutrition and being overall healthy.

"Cameron Diaz shares her formula for becoming happier, healthier, and stronger in this positive, essential guide that is grounded in science and inspired by personal experience.
Throughout her career, Cameron Diaz has been a role model for millions of women. By her own candid admission, though, this fit, glamorous, but down-to-earth star was not always health-conscious. Learning about the inseparable link between nutrition and the body was just one of the life-changing lessons that has fed Cameron’s hunger to educate herself about the best ways to feed, move, and care for her body. In The Body Book, she shares what she has learned and continues to discover about nutrition, exercise, and the mind/body connection.
Grounded in science and informed by real life, The Body Book offers a comprehensive overview of the human body and mind, from the cellular level up. From demystifying and debunking the hype around food groups to explaining the value of vitamins and minerals, readers will discover why it’s so important to embrace the instinct of hunger and to satisfy it with whole, nutrient-dense foods. Cameron also explains the essential role of movement, the importance of muscle and bone strength and why we need to sweat a little every day.
The Body Book does not set goals to reach in seven days or thirty days or a year. It offers a holistic, long-term approach to making consistent choices and reaching the ultimate goal: a long, strong, happy, healthy life."

::the:weekend::

There are many books that will be coming out in the next few months…Spring and Summer is the start of something new, so of course the latest and greatest books will be out on shelves to fill up those warm Summery days at the beach. I am *definitely* going to be going to the beach this year, and who knows, maybe camping! Or I would prefer, glamping. This way I can bring my babies with me too. :) I am sure they would love it. Mind you, I would have to go to the vet and look into tick prevention, fleas and such. I don't want them catching anything.
Anyways, this weekend so far has been a gorgeous one, the sun has been out for most of it and I love waking up to the sun shining into our apartment. It's not that cold out either, so it almost feels like Spring is around the corner. :)
Travis and I got up quite early this Sunday morning as the Canada/Sweden game is on (GO CANADA!), so far 1-nothing. ;)

::a:little:panache::

The last couple of weeks have been rather busy ~ and have gone by so quickly. I honestly don't know where the time has gone. I have many little changes I would like to make to this blog. Would love to go into more of a lifestyle/health direction with it...but as I do look back on past posts I think it's fun that there are some fashion editorials, style hits and whatnot sprinkled throughout. Things like that can be inspiring.

I am really trying to catch up on school ~ I am quite behind so I have been studying non-stop. I am slowly getting there. So my life the next few months, including weekends, long weekends, summer vacation, will be non-existent.
I really do enjoy studying holistic nutrition though. So much to learn...so many things I had no idea about.

Anyways...it's Friday!
So going to leave you off with some pretty, inspiring {what I call sugar-jar} pictures. ;)

::dandelion:root:tea::

When the flower dandelion comes to your mind, you probably automatically think about that annoying weed that you would spend endless hours pulling out of your lawn during the Summer months...my Dad wasn't particularly fond of the fact either when those familiar puffballs started to show before they turned into sunbursts of yellow because my Sister and I would frolic around the front and backyards blowing their seeds every which way...let me tell you...lots more dandelions would show up.
I can now appreciate the fact as an adult, how much a pain in the ass and hard work it is to keep a yard looking put together and weed-free.

::dex:&:pep::

This post should have been posted a looooong time ago {early 2012!!}, I have been super busy with work and school and then as I was perusing my blog I realized I never posted this!! Omg.
Sorry to Dex and Peppermint!

Here it is! Finally!!! The interview with two of the cutest YouTube stars ever!!!

So, as most of you already know, I got Lou'e just over 3 months ago {or something like that, lol} and he has been an absolute dream. I couldn't have asked for a better puppy, honestly. He is such a good boy ~ still has lots to learn but he is so quick to get things and what he knows now was easy-as-pie to teach him to do. Although I must admit, potty training was a bit of an arduous task at first.

I have become, beyond any doubt, a crazy dog lady.
