::happy:reading:&:dream:library::

Grrr....the brand new Kate Moss book *was* available on Amazon and now it's disappeared! Will ship in 1-3 months! :( *tears*tears*tears*
This book was released as an homage to her 40th birthday and to her beyond successful career...I own pretty much all the Kate Moss books...because I'm obsessed with her and want to BE her. Lol.
Anyways...it's available on the US Amazon if anyone is interested. Please let me know what you think! I am desperate to find out what that book is like! I can't even find it in my local stores!
Anyways...
I told you I would share some new Spring reads and here they are! They aren't novels...but I am sure you are going to have a lot of fun reading them - of course, there are cookbooks...I read those like I read Harlan Coben or Dean Koontz. ;)

Happy Reading!!

"The Body Book" by Cameron Diaz - $15.99 CDN
Wow, the price of this book has come down a lot since I threw it in my wish list bucket on Amazon. Okay, I must admit, I wasn't a *huge* fan of Cameron Diaz...I don't know why! I guess she annoyed me immensely in Charlie's Angels...but I did love her in The Mask with Jim Carrey.

Anyways...for some reason when I saw that she released a book all about nutrition and your body there was a switch that flipped and I though - yea, I could like her again. I don't know why! I guess I am loving all people that tout healthy living these days. I love even more the photo of her here...no makeup and just happy to have a copy of her own book. That'll be me one day! Mark my words!! :D
I looked through the book (online) and it really does seem quite interest, a no nonsense, layman terms take on nutrition and being overall healthy.

"Cameron Diaz shares her formula for becoming happier, healthier, and stronger in this positive, essential guide that is grounded in science and inspired by personal experience.
Throughout her career, Cameron Diaz has been a role model for millions of women. By her own candid admission, though, this fit, glamorous, but down-to-earth star was not always health-conscious. Learning about the inseparable link between nutrition and the body was just one of the life-changing lessons that has fed Cameron’s hunger to educate herself about the best ways to feed, move, and care for her body. In The Body Book, she shares what she has learned and continues to discover about nutrition, exercise, and the mind/body connection.
Grounded in science and informed by real life, The Body Book offers a comprehensive overview of the human body and mind, from the cellular level up. From demystifying and debunking the hype around food groups to explaining the value of vitamins and minerals, readers will discover why it’s so important to embrace the instinct of hunger and to satisfy it with whole, nutrient-dense foods. Cameron also explains the essential role of movement, the importance of muscle and bone strength and why we need to sweat a little every day.
The Body Book does not set goals to reach in seven days or thirty days or a year. It offers a holistic, long-term approach to making consistent choices and reaching the ultimate goal: a long, strong, happy, healthy life."

"Clean Green Drinks" by Candice Kumai - $17.32 CDN
This book won't be
released until April 22, 2014 but the countdown is on! To be honest, in the beginning, before I started drinking smoothie all the time, I didn't know if I was going to get this book. Oh who am I kidding?? I knew I would want to get my hands on this because it's CANDICE KUMAI!! I am so obsessed with her, and what's even better is that she takes the time to write her fans! I've written or commented countless times on her blog or Instagram account and she always replies! She is beyond cool and definitely an inspiration for me. I am too excited to see what sort of recipes she has in this new cookbook of hers. :)

"Simply Italian" by Michela, Emanuela & Romina Chiappa - $20.06 CDN
This title has not yet been released. I do hear in the UK it is coming out on April 24th. Okay...you have no idea how excited I am about this book. I watched Michela on her cooking show a few times and just LOVE her. I
loved the show and everything about it. Such amazing food, a British-Italian family. I really am just obsessed with everything Italian though - let's face it.
So when I seen Amazon suggest this book to me I almost screamed in excitement! I really cannot wait for it. I wanna know when it's going to be released!! Some are saying July 1st, 2014.
"This is the very best of Italian cooking with Michela, Romina and Emanuela in "At Home with the Chiappa Sisters". 'Wales and Italy, family and food: for us, these four things are inextricably linked and at the root of our upbringing. Whether at the family home in Wales or when we spend holidays in the small hilltop village we are from in northern Italy, we have always heard Dad say that 'la tavola' (the table) is the central focus of our lives. It's where we cook, eat and socialise as a family.' Michela, Emanuela and Romina Chiappa grew up in Wales in the heart of a close-knit Italian community where food was always at the centre of family and social gatherings. Whether searching for porcini in the hills near their parents' home, or making pasta for Christmas Eve with the whole family, to sharing food at the annual Welsh-Italian summer picnic, the three sisters have been immersed in the Italian way of cooking all their lives. In their first cookbook they share their cherished family recipes, including all the pasta dishes recently seen in their Channel 4 series "Simply Italian". From snacks, soups and salads, to mains, side dishes and desserts, "At Home with the Chiappa Sisters" brings you good, simple, fresh Italian food. Michela Chiappa works as an agent in a sports management company, as well running a coffee and pizza cafe in Cardiff with her husband. Of the sisters, she's the risotto expert and also loves to make pasta sauces. Romina works for a luxury fashion brand is London, and loves to bake for friends and family. Emanuela runs an online business selling bespoke homemade gifts for children, and works as a nanny. She loves to cook time-consuming means and entertain large groups."

"The Everygirl's Guide to Diet and Fitness" by Maria Menounos - $15.68 CDN
This title hasn't been released yet either, but is slated for availability on June 3, 2014.

I would love to hear how Maria lost all that weight and kept it off. I love celebrity diet and fitness books. It really is my weakness. Lol.

"From Maria Menounos, self-proclaimed EveryGirl and host of Extra, comes a lasting weight-loss program based on the Mediterranean diet of her childhood that will encourage women to think “smarter, simpler, healthier”—a personal mantra that helped the star lose (and keep off!) forty pounds.
TV host and journalist Maria Menounos was once more than forty pounds overweight, low on energy, and often sick. Desperate for a change, she tried a wide array of diet and exercise fads—with zero success. Like most EveryGirl out there, Maria lacked the time, money, energy, and willpower to get in shape.
Determined to overcome those obstacles, Maria spent a year developing commonsense diet, exercise, and lifestyle techniques that transcended traditional nutrition and weight-loss plans. As a result, she lost the extra pounds, regained her energy and health—and saw her career take off. Now, applying those techniques and bolstered by the wisdom, insight, and secrets of some of the world’s leading health and fitness experts—as well as the glamorous, superfit superstars she interviews regularly—Maria has created the ultimate no-time, no-money, no-willpower guide to losing weight, getting fit, and gaining long-term health and success: The EveryGirl’s Guide to Diet and Fitness."

"I Quit Sugar" by Sarah Wilson - $18.77 CDN
This book is slated for release on April 8th.

Studying holistic nutrition I gotta avoid sugar - which is the devil...and this is apparently THEE book to learn all about why and how to avoid it - comes with a complete 8-week detox program and cookbook. This is one detox I am definitely going to partake in during the Summer months. :)

"A week-by-week guide to quitting sugar to lose weight; boost energy; and improve your looks, mood, and overall health, with 108 sugarfree recipes.
Sarah Wilson thought of herself as a relatively healthy eater. She didn't realize how much sugar was hidden in her diet, or how much it was affecting her well-being. When she learned that her sugar consumption could be the source of a lifetime of mood swings, fluctuating weight, sleep problems, and thyroid disease, she knew she had to make a change.
What started as an experiment to eliminate sugar--both the obvious and the hidden kinds--soon became a way of life, and now Sarah shows you how you can quit sugar too:
* follow a flexible and very doable 8-week plan
* overcome cravings
* make food you're excited to eat with these 108 recipes for detox meals, savory snacks, and sweet treats from Sarah Wilson and contributors including Gwyneth Paltrow, Curtis Stone, Dr. Robert Lustig (The Fat Chance Cookbook), Sarma Melngailis (Raw Food/ Real World), Joe "the Juicer" Cross, and Angela Liddon (Oh She Glows)
I Quit Sugar makes it easy to kick the habit for good, lose weight, and feel better than ever before. When you are nourished with delicious meals and treats, you won't miss the sugar for an instant.
"When I quit sugar I found wellness and the kind of energy and sparkle I had as a kid. I don't believe in diets or in making eating miserable. This plan and the recipes are designed for lasting wellness." -- Sarah Wilson"

"Kate Moss" by Chris Roberts - $27.71 CDN
For some reason the price went up on this book!! Anyways! Unfortunately *sniff*sniff* this book is not available until 1 to 3 months time in Canada. So all you American's and Brits are in luck. You can find this at a lower price on those sites. Well, the US one anyways.

GAWD! I wanted this book and I wanted it NOW! Lol. 1 to 3 months will feel like torture. But it's all worth it in the end. I definitely want to get my hands on this one. :)
I love Kate Moss!!!

"Kate Moss has grown up in public," wrote journalist Julie Burchill back in 1999, "into one of the most singular and shimmering icons our damp little island has ever produced." Today, Kate is one of the most recognizable - and, against all odds, durable - stars alive. To more than one generation, she's the rebel queen, the model who made herself the embodiment of the rock'n' roll spirit, the stylista and the unconventional mother and wife. In celebration of her 26-year career and 40th birthday in January 2014, this book looks back at her life in beautiful images and revealing text. Moss has achieved something that no other model has. She has worked in fashion for over three decades, launching trends, defining styles, but never becoming dated. Most models become irrevocably associated with one era, but not Kate. Her look evolves and so does she, which makes her an endlessly fascinating subject, photographically and biographically."

There you have it!!
I am seriously obsessed with books. I want a freakin' library! But will have to wait until I have my very own house...
Here are some inspiring bookish rooms! :)
