A week ago today I adopted bought {does it really matter?!} little Lou'e.

When we went I was a little overwhelmed. A dog is a huge responsibility. Especially a puppy. So when I went to see him I was a bit nervous and excited. When I saw him though I knew I wanted him. There was another pup there (who also got scooped up pretty quickly) but I knew that I wanted little Lou'e. Hiding behind his crate. Timid little eyes. Shy. He was perfection. And of course he looked like a Lou'e. :)
These little things are so precious and it is unbelievable how much joy these little ones bring to ur life and heart.
Simply seeing him get all excited and happy when he sees me is enough to send me over the edge. Kissing him incessantly. Of course there are many things I need to learn so my bestie bought me a book "Yorkies for Dummies"; which I am reading.

Here are some style hits from the CMA's that happened not too long ago. And of course, Carrie Underwood always looks flawless. I find Taylor Swift a bit too safe all the time.
I'll be posting all of Carrie's looks a little later on.
Keith Urban always looks pretty stylin'. Tim McGraw is pretty hot ~ yes, I had to say it. Hunter Hayes is such a cute. Kellie Pickler looks adorable.
Black Shelton and Miranda Lambert? Cutest couple of life.

My little baby.

This is on the car ride home. Me and my little Lou'. Every time I see him my heart picks up the pace a little. He is my angel! :)

So yes, I have disappeared for a little bit from the blogging world but for good reason! My Mom and Dad have come to visit from California and we always have so much fun when they come up to Canada. I always miss my family like crazy when they go back home though - or even when I visit my Sister and have to go back to my old little ghetto city. So it has been busy with them, baking, cooking, chillaxing and buying a puppy!

Some inspiring photo's on this lovely fried-egg Friday!

{I do not own these images ~ just sharing. :)}

I love Julie Benz, ever since I saw the 2nd Boondock Saints movie...okay, maybe the 2nd movie isn't nearly as amazing as the first Boondock Saints one but I don't care. I love them both just the same and am stoked that a 3rd one is supposedly coming out. I am patiently they all better hurry up! To get my fix of Norman Reedus, I will be starting to watch The Walking Dead...I mean, come on...Norman Reedus is pretty damn SEXY. Same goes for Sean Patrick Flannery but I am unsure what he is doing at the mo'...and I just loooove their Irish accents in the Boondock films too. Ugh.
Anyways - so she is in the second movie with them - lucky lady. I just loved her spunky and fiesty character. And really, she is just plain ol' gorgeous-glam and she has some serious style too.

Congrats to Jessica Simpson! She is baaaangin!
Give the finger to all the hater's out there that thought she couldn't do it.
She looks fantastic and happy!

This was the post from yesterday...but I couldn't very well post it because the day wasn't done! So here is question number 4...

Bullet Your Whole Day

Well, this isn't going to be terribly interesting compared to a weekend...but here goes nothing.
Actually, I will bullet my day on Saturday as well as my day today. ;) Spice it up a bit, lol.

Just some random, inspiring photos for your MONday. ;)
For more gorgeous random photo's like this head on over to Sugar-Jar.

So the weekend went by so fast, too fast.
I love my weekends and my poor Trav was sick as a dog for the entire thing. I did drag him out to a few stores on Saturday {he needed a few things anyways}, yesterday was total laziness and A LOT of studying that I got done, so I am happy about that.
I know I said I was going to blog and I didn't do a heck of a lot of that, don't hate me! I will do more today. I also have my blog posts timed to post randomly throughout the day. So I write most of them in the mornings or in the evenings and set them to post during the day when I am at work. Nifty idea there blogger.
Anyways...30 day challenge! Question 3! I will try to not make this as long winded as the last couple were. Lol. And I know I am behind, so will post four at some point with some more editorials.

A Book You Love

Happy Weekend! Gah, I love weekends...especially rainy ones but tomorrow it is supposed to be a rather gorgeous day so I am looking forward to that as well. Poor Travis is still sick and only seems to be getting worse. I hope he starts feeling better.
I have lots of posts coming up for you guys so make sure to stick around, check them out and comment.
And I am also going to share my answer to question number TWO from the "30 Day Challenge"...
Right after I begin to dye my hair...this is going to be a process in itself...
Shoot..I have no gloves to do this either. :/

Question Two
Something You Feel Strongly About.

Okay, so...I have had the most weirdest headaches the past 2 days, so very random...hope they go away...poor Travi is also sick! He woke up {outta nowhere!} with a full blown cold!! Poor guy. He works hard and he needs a rest. I hope that he has a wonderful weekend this weekend because the last few haven't been great and we have been so busy.
Tomorrow it's supposed to rain in Toronto so maybe it'll be a lazy one filled with studying, movie watching, vegging out and blogging. :)
Here is a photo of the day and I am thinking of doing a "30 day challenge" of sorts...which is usually done on Tumblr but decided to do it on my blog. Which by the way, I have a Tumblr account so if you haven't already check it out than go to Sugar-Jar. Lots of gorgeous and inspirational photos. :)

I love Gucci ~ I especially LOVED the Fall 2008 Ready to Wear collection - I wanted every single piece of clothing from that collection. Therefore, I am going to share with you Gucci's ad campaign from that time.

Here we have several various models for the Fall/Winter 2008/2009 Gucci Collection by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin.

I am obsessed with food. Food is on my mind 24/7 ~ so I think it is a good idea to look into a career or go to school that has everything and anything to do with food. That is why I'm taking Holistic Nutrition through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. So far, so good. I am enjoying it immensely  even though there are a few things here and there that I'm stumped on, I can power on through as someone told me today. ;)
So what better photo to choose for photo of the day then one that is fashion & food related.
Here we have Raquel Zimmerman ~ I just found this pic on a random USB...but I am pretty sure this is from an issue of Vogue.
It reminds me of Food Network's Chopped.

I am seriously loving my iPhone 5 camera ~ it is the shizz, for serious. I am a serious Apple product lover now...I used to be all PC, now I've gone back.
I have a boatload of photo apps on my phone as I love to play around with my pics. I realize though I need to take more! I don't have that much.
How many photos do you guys have on your phones/camera's/computers/photo albums??

Here are a few things in my day to day life that I took the past couple of months.

Even though my top pics were the first three I got the last one ~ which I am totally cool with! I mean, it is Kate Moss regardless...I almost totally forgot that there were different covers so it wasn't a huge surprise until I realized later - hey what a minute, weren't there seven other covers? Lol. Anyways. I love it!!!

I can barely keep my eyes is almost 10:30pm here in Toronto {G.Dot} and I had such a busy day ~ work, gym {where I kicked my own ass, oh yeah!}, dishes, dinner, prepping my lunch and then studying and now I am here, in bed, pooped!
I will make this brief.

Thank you to all the new lovely followers ~ you all made my day! And as always, I follow back, so don't you worry! You don't even have to ask! As soon as I see a new follower and they have a blog, it's done! If for whatever random reason it doesn't seem like I am following then just let me know!
I hope to see more followers in the next little while and thank you for visiting and I hope to see more comments soon as well. :)
I guess revamping the blog was a good idea after all!

A lot of people have a lot of opinions on Lindsay put it plain and simple, she is a hot mess.
She definitely looks rough around the edges and sometimes I just feel sorry for her, I mean, where did she go wrong? But that's her world and we may never understand it. I just hope that she gets the help that she really needs and is able to turn it around because it just doesn't seem like it is getting any better as time passes.
Regardless...she can still come out and turn heads...I think sometimes she gets it just right with her style. So here are some of my favorites.

I finally got my Starbucks...all is right in the world again...

One recipe that I make time and time again ~ especially during the cold Winter months here in Canada is chili. Yummy, hearty, healthy chili. And yes, chili CAN be healthy ~ especially when using organic ingredients. I know that a lot of tomato sauces that come canned are jampacked with soaring levels of sodium and this is why you always check your labels. You can always make your own homemade tomato sauce as well...honestly, for the sake of time and money, I did end up getting the name brand salty stuff - but I also made sure that I got the reduce sodium version. Other then that, there isn't a heck a lot of salt that you add to this recipe. Maybe a pinch here and there for flavouring, but you're using a lot more spices then anything else.
This recipe is sooo delicious and you can make a huge batch up on Sunday night so you have some for the week. Which is what I did, filled just about more than half of a 11.5 L stock pot which simmered away for an hour or so.

Lauren Conrad.
Doesn't style just immediately pop into your head when you think of LC? Other then The Hills, LC is always so put together and always looks impeccable when out on the red carpet ~ or even out and about ~ she is the quintessential LA/California girl.

I sit here with my Starbucks Caramel Brulee latte thinking about the past year or so. It definitely had it's struggles...2010...2011 and 2012 were all a little tough for me. And I am hoping that it just happened in threes and that 2013 will be better. Something is telling me that it is going to be regardless. Also I can't believe that almost a year ago this month I quit my old dead-end job ~ I am so grateful that I did. They recently shut the place down so where would that have left me anyway?

There are always a tun of fantastic recipes on the Kraft Canada website as well as their little magazine that they send to you in the mail.
The newest issue {Festive 2012} has a tun of mouth-watering recipes in there that I would love to try. One of them being the Fiesta Stuffed Pasta Shells. Such a simple and quick recipe and come on people, like, look at that picture? Does that not look freakin' divine?!
Anyways...I am sharing this recipe with you while making chili - which I will post later on! :)

I fell in love with Kate Bosworth when Blue Crush came out {anyone remember that movie?}. She is stupid pretty with perfect wheat-blonde hair, amazing bone structure, petite frame and a ridiculously infectious smile. Seriously, when you see her smile you can't help but smile too!
And she has two different colour eyes. Like yours truly. ;)

Here we have the crazy-amazeballs style queen, Kate Bosworth.

What does home mean to you?
For me, home is where the heart is...home is where my family is. When I say that I am going home, that means I am actually going home, meaning California! That is where my Ma and Pa are...where half way across the world I can go and feel my most comfortable. Like it is my own
I am ready to have my own home though...where my parents and Sister can come and visit and feel the same way. So I am excited to say that Trav and I will be looking for a house in the next little while ~ not sure when exactly but it is in our future! Lol.

I have not been having the greatest of sleeps I hope to recharge this weekend, as I have mentioned in a previous post. I still have yet to review the books that I recently got as well as some mags that I got too! There is so much info in them. Gawd, I love to read.
So I am going to share as much as I can. As I plan to be UBER lazy this weekend! Other then cleaning tomorrow morning...I hope not to wake up at 3am {AGAIN} because if I do, then it is guaranteed I'll be cleaning like mad woman instead of just laying there and staring at the ceiling. Lol.
Anyways...I am having problems with blogger and I hope it gets resolved. A lot of followers are not getting that the URL changed. Which is a total bummer, but I am working on it! So be patient pleeeease.

Anyways, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. :) <3 font="font">

I love Shakira. She is gorg and most of her music is fairly good. Would love to see her in concert - she sure knows how to perform and get the audience going.

I am obsessed with Kate Moss ~ but what else is new, so when I found out that she is on the cover of Vanity Fair I freaked!! Not only that, but there is going to be an in-depth interview in there with her, she rarely does interviews so it is going to be fantastic to read this. I just hope it isn't two pages, but like...10! This is all coming together since her new book is coming out this month! I am sooooo excited for both. You can't even imagine. I love her! Lol.
So anyways, here is a sneak peak of her on the cover of December 2012's issue of Vanity Fair.
