Hello everyone!

I am in California! 

Just popping in to say hello...sorry that the posting has been pretty much non-existent...I am trying but there is a lot to do and am spending as much time as I can with my fambam and boyfriend. So far though, it has been really spectacular. I seriously love it here. 

We have been doing some sight-seeing as well as lots of shopping and I just love being at home. The food is amazing! My Mom is quite the cook and my Dad keeps us busy as well by taking us to see some pretty interesting stuff around the Northern part of California. 

We have already been through Sacramento, Folsom Lake, Yuba and Grass Valley. Of course, it's gorgeous everywhere...there are more places to see, one being Carmel by the Sea that is supposed to be happening this weekend. :) 

Anyways! I hope everyone is enjoying their week so far and have a great long -labour day- weekend. Fall happens to be just around the corner and it might be a little cooler over where you are but in California it is absolutely scorching hot! Definitely going to come back with the boyfriend sporting a tan. :) 

Anyways! 

I will try and post as often as possible throughout my vacation...it's already going by so fast! I want to mention as well that my Mom made chicken piccata the other day for dinner and it was sooooo good! If you guys haven't tried it already, do it! So delicious! 

Also, we have been gorging on litres upon litres of iced apple-mint tea that my Mom has been making...sooooo delicious as well. :)

Wow!
It has been quite a while since I posted last. Have been keeping busy and going through some stuff but all in all I am feeling quite content today and am super excited that in two more sleeps my boyfriend and I will be California bound - which reminds me, I have to print out my itinerary and check in tomorrow morning. 

There is lots of packing that needs to be done as well as cleaning and whatnot. 

I am definitely going to miss my kitty for the two weeks that we will be out and about in Sunny northern California, but he is in good hands {boyfriends Mom}. 

I will still miss snuggling with him!
I will also miss my fishie; Lady. She'll probably just swim around and sleep most of the time. Lol. 

Anyways...I will try and post as much as possible when I am on my vacation. I plan on bring my laptop so I should stay connected throughout much of the trip. I am going to miss sitting on my phone on 3G when we do road trips but there is a lot of sight-seeing to do and things to look out for.
Have you guys gone to California before?
I looooove it. It's home because my parents are obviously there. :)
Anyways...I am going to post as much editorials as I can today...I am quite the busy bee for the next few days trying to get everything organized and ready. 

Hope all of you are having a wonderful end to the Summer, it is September 1st after all and Fall is just around the corner - mind you I love Fall. ;)

Hello hello!

Another glorious weekend has come and gone...had a few thunderboomers on Saturday and only a little bit of rain on Sunday but other then that it was nice and relaxing. :) 

There were lots of errands that had to be run and I was going to save a kitten as well that was hiding out with other kittens and it's Mommy {this kitten appeared to be quite ill} behind my boyfriends work but by the time I got to it...well, unfortunately the little dear went to kitty heaven. So that put quite a damper on my weekend, that's for sure. 

Another cat there is pregnant, so I am planning on saving those ones soon enough.
It's always very very sad when a little one like that passes away. I am unsure though if it passed because of health issues or a night predator - such as a racoon - got to it. 

Either way, I am thinking of the little kittons...I named her Isolde - at least I think it was a girl...either way. She will always have a little spot in my heart. 

Other then that, we watched movies and Drop Dead Diva {woohoo!} and TV shows, ate pizza and popcorn and just had a good time. 

This next weekend is going to be our weekend before our vacation so we definitely have to start packing and getting ready for our trip to Cali which we are super stoked about! We are going to be landing there at noon so we will have the afternoon and evening to ourselves there. :) I am quite excited! The first day I am sure we are going to just laze about at home or go for a walk. It's going to be grande! :D

Anyways...two more work weeks to go anyways. 

I am quite tired today and tomorrow the new season of Gossip Girl is coming out! I don't watch it on TV - I wait and wait until it comes out on DVD and then have a huge marathon! My boyfriend initially hates it in the beginning but then gets quite into it. :D Lol.

Anyways - enough rambling on my part. Will do the usual and post as much as I can for you lovelies. :)
